made her funnier, fatter,

more friendly, how I was

just tapping on an old

IBM perched over my

desk or a bar stool when

you got me high tech

and a lower chair. So

now I can't imagine not

having E Mail, a web

site, a way to copy and

paste as if I could

move pieces of panic

back and forth, delete or

redo what is. I think of

Free Willey, caught

and going around now

in circles. No one

knows if he still speaks

killer whale, if he could

even catch a minnow

after the life he’s

led 17 years, exactly

as long as I’ve known

you. I think of your

valve that isn't

working, the terror

in everything pounding

in me as Willy probably

would feel if some

juvenile delinquent came

up behind him, or what

he'd do for play, so

used to his keepers bringing

him dried fish and making

him swim to get it. Now

free, he must feel

so abandoned
